roasted sweet potato fries with garlic and rosemary
Saturday equals joy, being with friends and family and tasting the best that the world has to offer!
To celebrate this day, once again I went to the family garden and brought some sweet potatoes to our pantry.
Today I present a recipe that can be used as a snack, an appetizer and side dishes you choose! It is simple, fast and most of all it is delicious and full of flavor!
- Sweet potato q.s.
- Salt q.s.
- Pepper q.s.
- Olive oil q.s.
- 2 sprigs of rosemary
- 2 bay leaves
It is a bit strange to explain the preparation of a recipe in which the quantity of the ingredients almost all q.s. but in fact this recipe is easily adaptable to the taste of each one. Start by washing the potatoes well so they can be eaten with skin. Cut the potatoes to form potato sticks, the thickness of the sticks also depends on the taste of each. Before placing the potato sticks in a tray covered with parchment paper dry them very well with the help of a towel because the potato has an enormous capacity to absorb water. Preferably cut the sticks and let them dry for an hour or two before putting them in the oven. As soon as you put the potatoes on the bottom of the travel, the festival of spices begins, here each one can use their imagination. This time we used five cloves of garlic, salt, pepper, two sprigs of rosemary and two bay leaves. You can also try to use some onion, paprika, thyme, you decide! Now just mix everything very well so that the seasonings reach all the potato sticks and take to the oven about 45 minutes at 175 degrees. Delight yourself and innovate!
